    VIA Consult supports companies in establishing sustainability as a success factor and effectively integrating their CO₂ calculations into business processes. With extensive experience in advising medium-sized companies in the areas of processes and management systems, VIA Consult accompanies its clients from analysis and strategy development to the practical implementation and evaluation of measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

    The focus is on practical concepts that not only address legal requirements and sustainability obligations, but also create concrete business advantages – from increasing efficiency to strengthening competitiveness. VIA Consult draws on its broad industry knowledge and expertise in processes, ESG issues, and management systems to support companies in the strategic use of tools such as the FRED CO₂ calculation tool.

    With regard to FRED, this includes the following services, among others:

    Climate:

    • Collection and clustering/materiality analysis (especially Scope 3) of process data at the client’s premises
    • Determination of the carbon footprint (CO2 footprint) at company level (CCF) in accordance with ISO 14064/GHG Protocol and at product level (PCF) in accordance with ISO 14067 using the FRED tool. Company data is provided by the client.
    • Support in the preparation of sustainability reports in accordance with CSRD, VSME, CDP, and Ecovadis

    Supply chain:

    • Creation, tracking, and monitoring of the verification of reduction initiatives/transformation concepts with the goal of climate neutrality in accordance with ISO14068

  • Benefits and advantages as a FRED partner

    VIA Consult maintains good contacts with the advisory and approving bodies for attractive funding programs in the areas of CO2 measurement and transformation concepts. Due to the dynamic nature of the funding landscape, currently available funding programs can be specified in a coordination meeting.
